PLAY and LEARN: The Departments and Their Capital Cities of Colombia

This educational game is designed to assist young learners in studying the territorial distribution of Colombia, including its departments and capital cities. This content is typically part of the elementary education curriculum in the country.

Moreover, it serves as a valuable resource for anyone eager to practice and enhance their understanding of this topic.

The game comprises a total of thirty-two (32) images from the geopolitical map of Colombia, each highlighting one department at a time. Players are presented with four (4) options for each question, from which they must select the correct answer.

Users can choose among three (3) distinct game levels:

• Student: Players have unlimited time to answer questions. The name of the department is visible, and successful answers yield 10 points, while incorrect ones subtract 5 points.
• Intermediate: Players have a time limit of 10 seconds to respond. The department's name is not displayed. Successful answers result in a gain of 50 points, whereas incorrect responses deduct 25 points.
• Teacher: Players have only 5 seconds to answer without seeing the department's name. Correct answers award 100 points, while wrong answers result in a loss of 50 points.

This application not only provides a fun learning experience but also fosters a deeper appreciation for Colombia's geography.
